On the Start of JOMOCandle

Upon graduation, I believed everything was aligning perfectly. However, it didn’t take long for a nagging feeling of something missing to creep in.

Amidst the chaotic backdrop of the pandemic, this sentiment intensified, leaving me yearning to change ‘something’.

I embarked on a series of endeavors, from job hunts to exploring new hobbies, yet an entire year of searching failed to yield the fulfillment I sought.

It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that a profound realization struck me: instead of endlessly seeking the perfect opportunity, why not craft it myself?

And thus, the concept of JOMO was born – a pandemic project that, like many others, aimed to unearth a more gratifying path.

It began as a singular project, crafting and selling 30 hand-poured candles, an endeavour we deemed an ‘experience’; the rest is history.
