As a Board Member of the Asian American Professionals Association and a member of the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum, she merges advocacy with mentorship and community-building. Jannelle also volunteers for the United Way and has spoken on topics like intersectionality and leadership. Nefertari Nelson is a dedicated humanitarian who, after surviving a life-altering heart attack while nine months pregnant, has committed her life to advocating for the rights of heart patients and the disabled community. Known for her captivating presence, she has appeared on numerous daytime television shows and in various magazines and newspapers. One of her many talents is matchmaking, which she uses to address the loneliness epidemic identified by the WHO through her initiative, "Bringing People Together Two Hearts At A Time." Nefertari, affectionately known as “Neffie,” has made it her life's work to connect people and foster community.

Jalila Clarke has had many jobs, but no better job than being a mom. Living in a rural area of Panama, she has plenty of quality time with her baby, and they enjoy nature together. Jalila was born in Panama, relocated to the USA at a young age, and decided to repatriate back to Panama to take care of her little one. She always wanted to be a writer, and her article was her first submission to a magazine. 

Barbi Walker-Walsh is an award-winning journalist, multi-media producer, podcaster, foodie, producer, fashion lover, and a veteran flight attendant with 38 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University and a Master's degree from New York University. Barbi lives in Tempe, Arizona, with her husband and son.

Leina Gabra is a writer and journalist based in Montreal, Canada. She holds a joint honours Bachelor's degree in Political Science & History from McGill University and will be attending New York University in the fall to pursue a Master's degree in journalism.

Sajna Massey is the founder of Couth Studios. As a fashion entrepreneur with a background in engineering, business, construction, and artificial intelligence (AI), Massey has always had a passion for innovation and creativity. With her fashion startup, Couth Studios, she blends AI-driven design processes, sustainable practices, and community input to create one-of-a-kind clothing for consumers.

Melanie is a 24-year-old Black journalist from New Jersey, and currently works in healthcare. Melanie’s piece depicts what women of color go through on a daily at work. A lot of women of color don’t speak up because they need these jobs to survive, so they suffer in silence instead of speaking up.

Christophine Opsetmoen is a German-Canadian writer and self-proclaimed film nerd. She studied screenwriting at Vancouver Film School and received her undergraduate degree in writing at Douglas College. Since 2017, she resides in Vancouver, Canada and pursues her passion both in writing scripts for film and television scripts, as well as writing about new releases on the big and small screen.

Michileen Bryan is a digital events producer and analytical professional with a bachelors degree in Psychology and Biomedical Biology. She is also a residence life leader and a skilled researcher, and events producer.
